On July 11th the Show Me team went to a Hannibal Hoots game and watched them play their arch rivals, the Quincy Gems. It was hot, but once the sun went down, the evening was beautiful. Mason almost got hit by a foul ball. That guy can move fast.
Members of the Show Me Business Builders Club recently presented a $500 check to Kids in Motion/Teens in Motion from money generated from a gun raffle held over the summer. Dick Wehde was the winner of the raffle. Show Me Business Builders is a networking group that helps businesses promote themselves in the community and grow through business to business referrals. The $500 donation will fully sponsor a child for the 2018 KIM program. Kids in Motion is under the umbrella of Douglass Community Services and is a United Way recipient.
